Car-Rep 2K Headlight Clear Coat: Professional Restoration in a Can
Car-Rep 2K Headlight Clear is a professional two-component clear coat engineered for polycarbonate headlights. Powered by patented CAR-REP Wise 2K® Technology, it combines a polyurethane clear coat with a built-in hardener to deliver an ultra-strong, durable, high-gloss finish, with no mixing or activation required.
Built-in adhesion promoters allow direct application to headlight lenses, restoring yellowed, cloudy, or oxidised polycarbonate to improve clarity, visibility, and appearance. The result is a chip-resistant, UV-resistant coating that protects against scratches, chemicals, and everyday weathering.
Thanks to its innovative unlimited pot life, there's no wasted product. Use as much or as little as you need. The can won't harden prematurely, so you can return to it job after job.

Surface preparation
Clean the headlights and surrounding area. Sand with 400 grit, then refine with 600–800 grit. Wipe clean using Car-Rep pre paint cleaner and a lint-free cloth.
Application
Shake the can well. Spray 15–25 cm from the surface in smooth, overlapping strokes. Apply 3 light coats, finishing with a wet coat. Ideal application temperature is 18–25 °C. Allow 5 minutes between coats. Clear the nozzle after use.
Dry time
Touch dry in 30–60 minutes. Handle after 16 hours. Fully cured in 14 days (curing indoors recommended).
